From Higashi-Ikebukuro, Tokyo, through people, to Bangkok.

  1. Taishoken · Higashi-Ikebukuro

In 1961, Kazuo Yamagishi opened Higashi-Ikebukuro Taishoken. Alongside his special morisoba, he nurtured a simple purpose: to bring happiness to every guest with a bowl.

  2. Menya Koji · Koji Tashiro

Koji Tashiro learned under Yamagishi, inheriting both his taste and his care for guests. Through the Menya Koji Group, he passes that spirit to the next generation.

  3. Taishoken · Bangkok

That connection continues at Taishoken in Thong Lor, Bangkok. Honoring the spirit passed down to us, we serve bowls made to become a familiar part of life in this neighborhood.
